DISCLAIMER:

this program is taken on completely by the person using this program. This

ALLPNT.EXE:
===========
This utility will allow setting of file points in all T.A.G. v2.6c1 *.DIR files
according to the upload and download paths specified in the FBOARDS.DAT file.
ALLPNT is ideal for setting all downloadable files to a single Point Value.
SysOps could use ALLPNT to change all File Point Fields back to 0 should they
decide to discontinue limiting downloads using File Points.
USAGE:
======
ALLPNT will read the FPOINTS.CFG file for default responses to the following
questions (if it exists in the current directory). Default responses are also
built into the code. Editing of Input Fields is also allowed.
Step 1 - Enter "ALLPNT" at the DOS Prompt.
Step 2 - Enter your "Main Data File Path" as listed in the
System Configuration Editor or press <Enter> to
except the default.
Step 3 - Enter your "Multi-user Data File Path" as listed in the
System Configuration Editor or press <Enter> to except
the default. If you are not running a "Multi-node BBS",
then enter the "Main Data File Path" used in Step 2.
Note: The above paths are searched to locate your
FBOARDS.DAT file. These paths are also used
to locate *.DIR files should you be using the
"@" or "`" in front of the filename in the
FBOARDS.DAT file.
Step 4 - Enter the File Point Value to assign to all files on your
system (0-255) or press <Enter> to except the default.
NOTES:
======
ALLPNT creates a file called "DELETE.ME" for duplicate checking
of upload and download paths listed in the FBOARDS.DAT file and
will erase this file before exiting back to DOS. If for some
reason ALLPNT exits with a "RUNTIME" error, the "DELETE.ME"
file can be erased. If you do have a problem running this
program, don't hesitate to get in touch with us!
